Scenes From Our First Retreat

Join us for a weekend of:
stress relief,
mindfulness (and mindlessness)
and self-care.

What could be better than a group of women gather to laugh, eat and EXHALE?

 The House

Our retreat site is a picturesque luxury log cabin in the heart of the Hocking Hills.  Imagine curling up on a squishy sofa next to warm fireplaces or enjoying the views from the wrap around porch. Feeling like exploring? There are 14 acres to walk in and enjoy (complete with a pond and waterfall). AND there is a hot tub!!  You can check out all the features at Eagles Wing Lodge

The Support Staff

nancy

Hi, I am Nancy Jane Smith. I have wanted to design a retreat experience for years. Even though I am an introvert, I have found that there is something remarkably healing about women gathering to support each other. My deepest intention is to create a space where you can relax, regroup and leave with unique insight into yourself and strategies for dealing with stress in a less dramatic way.

heidiHeidi Vanderpool is a Licensed Acupuncturist and Licensed Massage Therapist in Columbus, OH.  She will be offering community acupuncture sessions and massage.  Acupuncture is the insertion of very thin needles in points on the body that affect change (most of the points Heidi uses are on the arms, legs, and head).  It is a painless modality can help with almost anything!  Most people find acupuncture to be very relaxing so come ready for some deep relaxation and healing.  If you have specific health needs, you can discuss that at the time of treatment, or if you want to come just to experience a balancing treatment for overall wellness then your in for a treat. www.pinnedcommunityacupuncture.com

adam-2Adam Hernandez is a full-time artist and home chef living in the Columbus area. Adam was born and raised in the Bronx to a family of musicians and performers. As a child, the bravado and vibrancy of the graffiti that covered every surface of his city spoke to him.  With the city’s inspiration and the encouragement of his oil-painting-grandfather, Hernandez set down an artistic path.  Throughout his career he has continually returned to the creativity and adrenaline pumping pace of the kitchen, working at a variety of Columbus establishments ranging from Northstar to Whole Foods to The Kitchen to Hubbard Grille.  Adam is honored to spend the weekend providing homemade meals for The Deep Dive retreatants.

molly

Molly Ryan is a dedicated yogi & organization nut! Molly owns her own business, MStyle, planning events in the Columbus area and led her first wellness retreat in the fall of 2016. Molly, a long time friend and former client of Nancy Jane Smith, is excited to make the Deep Dive Retreat experience as seamless as possible for all retreatants (& Nancy!) while joining in on the organic experience that grows from spending a weekend together. Molly will be the on-sight yoga instructor for the weekend.
