You don't have to live stressed out and exhausted.

All it Takes is a Little Practice.

In the world of personal development you often hear the expression…change is a process.  This expression helps to show that any change takes time and happens over the long haul.

I know that while it is a process, more importantly it is a practice…a daily intentional practice.

I practice actively

  • talking to myself with love and compassion
  • living by my values,
  • speaking my needs
  • setting healthy boundaries.

According to Merriam Webster:

Process is;
a natural phenomenon marked by gradual changes that lead toward a particular result.

Practice is:
to perform or work at repeatedly so as to become proficient

It is a slight distinction I know, but it was a HUGE mind shift for me and for my clients. When I viewed change as a process, I didn’t actively engage in it.  When I saw it as a practice, I had the ability to make the change. With a practice, you aren’t going to get it perfectly every time but you are going to improve over time…bit by bit.But I see it in my clients and in myself.  Once I started engaging in these activities every single day, I started Living Happier.  Just like you practice a guitar, you need to lovingly practice the strategies to trust yourself and you will live happier.
